Can you help make a food delivery for someone in need?
You’ll pick up the food hamper from the North Shore Neighbourhood House at 225 2nd Street E. in North Vancouver and deliver it to a neighbour in North Vancouver. When you arrive at the Neighbourhood House, please ask for Lisa Hubbard.
How this works:
We’ll notify you when you’ve been matched to the neighbour in need. We'll forward your name and contact information to the neighbour to arrange a delivery time with you. Please email us at info@ivolunteer.ca if you don’t hear from the neighbour within 12-24 hours.
When you’ve picked up the hamper and you're ready to make the delivery, phone the neighbour in need with an approximate arrival time so that they're expecting you. When you arrive, phone the neighbour to let them know you’ve dropped off the hamper at their front door. If they live in an apartment building, please wait until they arrive at the front door to pick up their food hamper.
Time Commitment: 2 hours.
This a one-time commitment to fulfill a one-time need.

Maintain physical distancing by keeping a minimum 2-meter distance between you and any other person not in your immediate family.
Practice good hand hygiene by washing your hands thoroughly and often. Wash hands with soap for a minimum of 20 seconds and rinse under clean running water.
