Volunteers work on a variety of farm and garden tasks including weeding, watering, harvesting vegetables, preparing fields in the spring, cleaning up fields in the fall, and general farm and garden maintenance. Volunteers will work safely and efficiently while following equipment, personal, and food safety rules given by Earthwise staff.
Interest or experience in gardening/farming, interest in positive environmental change and community development, interest in teaching others, positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and to be a team-player. No previous gardening experience is necessary. This position requires regular bending and kneeling.
