Can you help walk the dogs of a family who is quarantined?
Many people view dogs as members of their families - please consider their safety while they're in your care.
How it works:
Once you've responded to this need, we'll forward your name and contact information to the neighbour. The neighbour will contact you within 24-48 hours to discuss details about transferring the dogs to you, the dogs personalities and exercise needs. Please email Iqra at IqraA@uwlm.ca if you don’t hear from the neighbour within 24 hours.
When you’re ready to walk the dogs, contact the neighbour with an approximate arrival time so that they're expecting you. When you’re ready to return the dogs, phone the neighbour so that they’re able to meet you at the front door to receive the dogs.
Time Commitment: 1 hour (flexible time of day!)
This is a commitment with recurring shifts- you may respond to multiple shifts if you wish.
The dog can be walked any time between 3pm-6pm on the given days. If you cannot commit to the timing listed under shifts but are available for 1 hour between 3 and 6 you can still respond!
