Through donations, we have been able to purchase a large order of Menstrual Products and we need your help to sort it for delivery to our partner agencies across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley
Purpose of position:
Supports organization and logistics of products brought to our warehouse location during the United Way Period Promise campaign.
Duties of the Position:
- Being able to lift a box weighting up to 15 kilograms is a requirement for the role
- Punctuality

- Customer Services
- Ability to represent United Way’s Period Promise Message
Work Environment:
Volunteer will work primarily on site (in a covered underground parking garage) moving and sorting product into distribution packages
Commitment required:
Need to be available on October 26th from 9am to 12 noon
Skills, Experience and/or Qualifications required:
- Volunteers must be able to produce a Vaccine passport, or proof of double vaccination.
Training provided:
Volunteers will attend a 15-minute training session on the day of the shift

Volunteers will be required to wear appropriate footwear (non-slip, closed toe, etc),

No large boxes will be used to ensure proper visibility and ease to carry and finally

Volunteer will be asked to sign a waiver of claims
As per our Covid safety protocols, we will have

Masks and gloves available for all volunteers, but they can also bring their own if they prefer. Masks must be worn while on premise.
