Volunteer at the United Way Storm the Stairs Event

Expired

Description

About the event:

Storm the Stairs is a unique fitness challenge, it is not a race. We hope to attract a diverse group of participants, from youth 14+ to adults in their 70’s, people of all different fitness levels to have some fun and enjoy the views of Trail and the Columbia River while raising funds for local youth programs.

Participants choose one of three routes to challenge themselves by running or walking, the EZ Steps (2.4 km),  Express Route (4 km) or the Grande Route (7.5 km) throughout the Westside of Trail.

The run/walk officially starts at 11 am on Saturday, April 23, 2022, but many volunteers will start a couple of hours earlier. All volunteers will receive t-shirt so that you are visible and easily identified on event day. The t-shirt is yours to keep. Volunteers working along the routes will also be required to wear a Hi-vis Vest; these must be returned at the end of the event.
