UWBC is hosting ongoing information session for potential host families to learn more about the opportunity to host newly arrived displaced Ukrainian families. Volunteers are needed to assist us with promoting the info sessions by distributing posters to local Community Centres.
What you will be helping with:
- Picking up posters at the UWBC Burnaby office
- Distribute as-needed posters to Community Centres in North & West Vancouver
- Attach posters to community bulletin boards
- Contacting local Vancouver Community Centres to inquire if posters can be placed on Community Board.

- Once you have responded to this opportunity you will be contacted by a Volunteer Coordinator with further information
- Volunteers must be able to walk for multiple hours during each shift
- Volunteers are encouraged to bring minimal belongings as there is no secure place for them while volunteering
