Volunteers will be supporting the work of Crystal Arber & Team. They are professional EMDR therapists dedicated to improving the lives of those who have suffered PTSD acute trauma symptoms. As members of the EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Program they are offering their services to displaced Ukrainians in a two day workshop.
They are in need of Driver's to provide transportation to displaced Ukrainian families attending the workshop.
In their own vehichle driver's will pick up assigned families within the Fraser Valley & transport them to the workshop in Richmond (Morning Shift) and/or pick up assigned families at the workshop in Richmond & provide them with transportation to the Fraser Valley (Afternoon Shift).
What you will be helping with:
- Pickup attendees at assigned location
- Provide attendees with transportation to and/or from the workshop.
- Drop off attendees at assigned location
- Volunteers are to log their hours after each training session they respond too.
Other Helpful Information:
- Volunteers must have a valid Driver's License.
- Volunteers must submit a Driver's Abstract after registering their shift.
- Volunteers must maintain Confidentiality of all attendees at the workshop.
- Volunteers must have access to their own vehicle
- Workshop will be held in Richmond.
- Pickup locations will vary throughout the Fraser Valley
- Volunteers contact information will be shared with Crystal Arber & Team.
- A Volunteer Coordinator will connect with volunteers with more information once they receive your registration for this opportunity
- Crystal Arber & Team will connect with volunteers prior to the info session to provide more information
- If volunteers are no longer available to assist, please unregister from this opportunity or let coordinator know to allow new volunteers to register.
Time Commitment: up to 2.5 hours. This is a recurring commitment to fulfill an immediate need.
