The Mission Regional Chamber of Commerce is excited to host the 2022 annual Candlelight Parade in its 37th year! This year's parade will be held on Friday, December 2nd, 2022 at 7:30 pm on 1st Avenue, Mission BC.
We are looking for parade volunteers to be Dispersal Area Helpers (DAHs) to help out with making the end of the parade a safe experience for children and float drivers. We need 3-5 DAHs to be stationed in the Freshco parking lot in Mission to guide floats through the parking lot. RCMP and Traffic Control personnel will direct floats with children into the Freshco parking lot. Once floats enter the Freshco lot, DAHs will guide them to the parent-pick-up area of the lot.
Dispersal Area Helper Duties:
- Guide floats/children to the parent-pick-up area of the Freshco parking lot
If you have any questions about the role, please email events@missionchamber.bc.ca
