Are you interested in connecting with isolated seniors during the Holidays?
We are looking for reliable individuals who are patient, compassionate and interested in connecting with seniors during the holidays!
Volunteers will pick-up prepacked Holiday Bags from our Burnaby Neighbourhood House South Location and deliver them to seniors at home!
Delivery is based on your schedule during our operating hours:
Monday December 19 – Friday December 23
10am – 5pm
Let us know when you are available to pick-up the prepacked Holiday bags from our South Burnaby Neighbourhood House location and deliver them to seniors throughout Burnaby.
May involve some brief socialization with seniors
Time commitment will be 3-4 hours, depending on delivery route.
Additional information:
All volunteers are required to complete a volunteer application process with the Burnaby Neighbourhood House. This includes a volunteer application form, informal interview (10 mins), completing an online volunteer orientation (22 mins.), and policy form.
