United Way BC is providing a variety of donated goods to displaced Ukrainians arriving in BC. Working with others, the UWBC Donation Sorting Volunteer will be assisting with sorting & organizing items for families in need.
What you will be helping with:
- Sort donations as needed
- Organize donations in storage area
- Transporting donations throughout the UWBC Burnaby office to alternate storage location within the building
- Loading carts with donations
Other Helpful Information:
- This volunteer locations is INDOORS at the United Way BC office in Burnaby.
(4543 Canada Way, Burnaby, BC V5G 4T4) - Free parking available.
- Volunteers are requested to be fully vaccinated.
- Training and orientation will be provided at start of the shift.
- Volunteers are encouraged to bring minimal belongings as there may not be a secure place for them while volunteer.
- Volunteers must be able to lift boxes & bags of donations
- Volunteers must be able to walk for a duration of 15 min.
