We are seeking kitchen assistant volunteers to support us with our Community Lunches at Gordon Neighbourhood House on either Mondays and/or Fridays. Volunteers in this role work alongside our skilled Community Chef and prepare ingredients, cook and serve meals. We seek volunteers who can follow FoodSafe and sanitary food handling guidelines, perform a wide variety of tasks involved with the preparation, serving, cleaning of food; ensure a safe, accessible, inclusive, and welcoming environment for participants and to engage with a dedicated team of staff and volunteers. The role requires the completion of a Criminal Record Check and attending one of our Volunteer Information Sessions.
