About the Role:
As a STRIVE event volunteer, you'll be at the heart of the action, helping us create unforgettable skateboarding and longboarding experiences. You'll help with event setup, registration, crowd control, and arts & crafts activities and ensure our overall event's safety and smooth flow.
Time: 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. (3 volunteers)
Please arrive 15 minutes before your shift to check in with your volunteer lead and receive your t-shirt. A light lunch will be available before your shift.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-event set up: assemble tents, set up registration table, food & activity tables, put up signage
- Welcome and assist participants during registration
- Keep the energy high by engaging with crowds during activities
- Help keep the food distribution tables clean and keep the lines moving
- Make sure everyone is having a great time while being safe
- Post-event breakdown: take down tents and registration tables, clean up food &activity tables, and take down signage

- 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 28.
- When you sign up, we'll send you the Zoom link to join the orientation.
