Thank you for your interest in supporting Moose Hide Campaign Day 2024, the 13th annual day of Indigenous-led ceremony and learning available to all Canadians. It is our great pleasure to welcome you to our team as we host space for Canadians to learn from Elders and Knowledge Keepers, to engage in ceremony together, and to collectively create a space for healing.
Our Volunteer Orientation will take place downtown on May 15th from 5-6 pm. Further details about the orientation will be shared via email that week.
This awesome crew will:
- Help set up tables, chairs, signage, and other event equipment before the walk begins
- Help direct pedestrian traffic to ensure the safety of participants
- Hand out swag and information materials
- Assist participants along the walk from Thunderbird Park (corner of Belleville and Douglas) to the Knowledge Totem on the Legislature grounds
- Assist with cleaning up the event area after the walk ends
This role is a fun and physical one that helps create a safe, inclusive, enjoyable experience for all who arrive to show their support.
