About this event:

Join us for an evening celebration, culture and heritage hosted by Burnsview Secondary School's First Peoples Social Studies Class. This event will bring together the community to honour rich traditions and history as students unveil a very special carving. 

Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities:

We're looking for volunteers to help with various aspects of the event. Volunteer duties may include: 

  • General event set up and tear down
  • Greeting and assisting elders
  • Welcoming and directing attendees
  • Assisting or providing support to performers and speakers
  • Helping with food service
  • Ensuring the event area remains clean and organized
  • Other general event-related tasks as needed
