Come join the Lower Fraser Valley Aboriginal Society as an event volunteer in a celebration and sharing of their culture, with food, games, entertainment, and a market!
Event volunteers are needed to help out with the BBQ station.
Event details: National Indigenous People's Day Event with BBQ and bannock, vendors, community partners, youth kids zone, and stage entertainment
Duties: Set up, set up BBQ and food station, cook burgers and hot dogs on the BBQ, serve to guests, take down and clean up, other miscellaneous tasks.
Skills/qualifications: Food Safe certification and previous food handling experience is an asset.
Event date: Saturday, June 22, 2024
Event time: 11:00am-3:00pm (volunteer shifts: 10:00am-1:00pm and/or 1:00pm-4:00pm)
