As the Master of Ceremonies (MC) for our Colombian Independence Day picnic, you’ll be the friendly face that welcomes our guests and sets the tone for a day filled with cultural pride.
Key Responsibilities:
As MC, your role will be vital in creating a welcoming, festive atmosphere for everyone. This includes:
- Welcoming attendees and ensuring everyone feels included
- Introducing performances with an engaging touch
- Facilitating event activities, helping the event flow smoothly and pleasantly
- Engaging the audience in a relaxed and inclusive manner

Practical Safety Precautions for Volunteering Outdoors in the Summer:
- Stay hydrated! Drink plenty of water throughout the day or your shift
- Wear sunscreen, a hat and sunglassesDress in light, breathable clothing and comfortable shoes
- Take regular breaks in shaded areas to rest and cool down
- Familiarize yourself with the location of first aid stations
