Community Collaboration Group Member

 

 Summary:

 

The main role of the Community Collaboration group is to act as a consultative body. The group is facilitated internally by a member and there is no external chair. The Collaboration group is to act upon request of the Better at Home Program Coordinator(s) or Manager with information, resources and at times, hands on assistance to achieve the Better at Home program’s goal.  Group members may act together or independently as required.

 

Key Activities:

 

Specific duties of the reference group could include:

 

-Supporting program improvement by making recommendations and proposals.

-Facilitating information sharing between stakeholders and other community members regarding the Better at Home program in Kimberley.

-Outreach, supporting volunteers and staff, promotion and advocacy.

-Sector integration: participating in local and regional sector activities.

 

Group members provide informed expertise, focused attention, and thoughtful input into policies and practices related to:

 

-client services

-service providers

-volunteer training

-partnerships and collaborations
