Public Education and Outreach Volunteer

Public Education and outreach volunteers are needed to facilitate workshops and educational activities that increase  earthquake, tsunamis, and emergency preparedness at events in their community or region or via webinar. The Public Education and Outreach volunteers deliver content as part of a team. Dates and times vary and are generally highest between Tsunami Preparedness Week (April) and the Great BC ShakeOut in October. We also receive requests for languages other than English.  Training is provided. Events include fairs, conferences, workshops, webinars, and other community events.
