Are you passionate about helping seniors and their families access the services they need? Brella Community Services Society is looking for friendly and resourceful volunteers to join our Senior Connector Program in the Guildford and Fleetwood areas. Senior Connectors provide information and referrals to older adults and caregivers in the community. In this role, you’ll set up a table at local libraries and connect with visitors about services related to housing, transportation, food security, caregiving, and more. Volunteers are provided with a toolkit of resources and are supported by Brella staff. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys chatting with people, is organized, and wants to make a real difference for older adults in their neighbourhood.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend scheduled shifts at either the Guildford Rec Centre or Fleetwood Library
- Greet and engage with community members
- Provide basic information and printed materials on local resources to support seniors
- Refer more complex cases to a Senior Connector at Brella's main office
- Maintain a tidy and welcoming table display
- Record basic notes on visitor interactions
- Training and ongoing information sessions provided
Qualifications & Benefits:

- Training or experience in a helping or customer-service role is an asset, but not required
