As a board member, you’ll play an essential role in shaping the direction, accountability, and sustainability of Feels Like Home Newcomers, bringing your experience, perspective, and heart to a cause that’s all about welcome, dignity, and community. This is a rewarding opportunity to walk alongside newcomer refugee families while supporting the growth of a local, grassroots nonprofit making a tangible impact every day.
We’re Looking For:

Individuals who are community minded and align with our mission of welcome, inclusion, and holistic care for newcomers

Lived experience as a newcomer or refugee (strongly encouraged, but not required)

Experience or interest in one or more of the following areas:

Nonprofit governance

Fundraising & donor relations

Community organizing
