Calling All Social Media Superstars!
Want to use your creativity to help make a difference?
More at Home Society is looking for a volunteer Social Media Marketer to join the Country for a Cause Event Committee and help us build excitement for one of the Tri-Cities' most anticipated fundraising events.
Country for a Cause returns to Pitt Meadows on October 24th, bringing together 250 guests for an unforgettable evening of community, entertainment, fundraising, and impact. Last year's event sold out in just two weeks, and we're expecting another incredible year.
We're looking for someone who loves social media, storytelling, and community engagement to help us spread the word and make this year's event bigger than ever.
What You'll Help With:
✨ Creating and scheduling social media content
✨ Promoting sponsors, auction items, and event activities
✨ Building excitement and engagement leading up to the event
✨ Capturing content before, during, and after the event
✨ Helping grow awareness of both the event and More at Home Society's mission
✨ Sharing stories that inspire people to attend, donate, sponsor, and support
You Might Be a Great Fit If You:
• Enjoy creating content for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
• Have experience with social media marketing, communications, content creation, or graphic design
• Love storytelling and connecting with people online
• Are creative, organized, and excited to be part of a collaborative team
• Want to use your skills to support a meaningful cause
Why Volunteer?
Because every post, share, story, and campaign helps raise funds that support low- and moderate-income seniors in accessing the home support services they need to remain safe, independent, and living in the homes they love. Let's keep seniors out of institutions they don't want to go to.
You'll gain:
Valuable experience working on a major community event
Opportunities to expand your portfolio and network
A chance to collaborate with an energetic and passionate committee
The satisfaction of knowing your work is creating real impact for seniors across British Columbia
Whether you're a seasoned marketer, a social media enthusiast, or someone looking to build experience while giving back, we'd love to hear from you. Please have some experience!
Virtual Committee meetings begin soon. Help us tell a story worth sharing.
