Description

Operation Red Nose is a volunteer-driven program coordinated by the Kamloops Sports Council & Pacific Sport that provides free, safe designated driver services during the holiday season. It helps prevent impaired driving by offering rides home to people who have been drinking, ensuring both them and their vehicles get home safely.

When you volunteer for Operation Red Nose, you help keep your community safe by providing designated driver services during the holiday season. It’s a rewarding way for you to give back and make a real difference in reducing impaired driving.

Please note: Having a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record is essential for driver volunteers.

This is the right role for you if you are someone who:

  • Is responsible, reliable, and committed to community safety

  • Enjoys helping others and working as part of a team

  • Can stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing situations

  • Has a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (for driver roles)

  • Has good communication skills
