Hi Neighbour is a United Way initiative that helps communities grow stronger, closer, and more connected. By bringing people together, we spark small actions that lead to big changes—creating neighbourhoods where everyone feels welcome, supported, and proud to belong.
As a Community Connector, you’ll play a vital part in making your neighbourhood more welcoming. You’ll help bring people together, start conversations, and celebrate what makes your community special. With just a few hours and a caring heart, you can create meaningful connections and lasting impact right where you live.

A Community Connector’s main tasks are:
Bring neighbours together in ways that feel fun and meaningful.
Spark small projects or events that brighten your community.
Sparking conversations, sharing stories, and celebrating local pride
Connect neighbours to one another and celebrate their stories.
Training & Experience
No training or prior experience is required. You’ll receive a welcome orientation with our Community Engagement Coordinator, Sam.
Time Commitment
Flexible—typically 1–2 hours per week. We’ll work with your schedule.
