About this initiative:
SHARE Family and Community Services volunteers play a social role for seniors living in the following areas: Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody. Our Better at Home programs support seniors with simple, day-to-day tasks, allowing them to live independently and remain connected to their communities. As seniors seek to age in place, they can sometimes lose connection with friends and family. By connecting with seniors for some friendly company, caring volunteers can significantly reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness, making a real difference in a senior’s life.
