We are a non-profit organization focused on strengthening families, supporting children and youth, and building community connections through a range of programs and services. We serve families across the Lower Mainland with locations in Vancouver, North Shore, Tri-Cities (Port Coquitlam area), and Ridge Meadows (Maple Ridge / Pitt Meadows). Our work rooted is in family well-being, evidence-based practice, and strength-based support. We offer services that help families navigate challenges, build positive relationships, and access tools for healthy development.
We are currently running a Foundations for Connection Group at our Vancouver location, this is a 12 week group for men to engage in healthier relationships. Discussions are focused on gaining a deeper understanding of values, respect, and choosing to show up in ways that lead to connection. Learning sessions are inspired by CBT, Gottman, and Narrative Therapy. We have created a workbook that accompanies the group material, however it is currently only available in English. We have a number of participants who speak Farsi and have reported that they would like to have the material translated into Farsi, so that they can reflect and revisit the topics, once the group is finishes.
We are hoping to find volunteers who can translate the weekly material. There are 12 weeks and each week would require approximately 3 hrs to translate.
I would email the content for translation, which could be done at the volunteers leisure, the content is separated into 12 weeks so would be translated by multiple volunteers
