Family Caregiver Support Group meetings: Do you enjoy interacting with seniors and working with older adults? The Family & Friend Caregiver Support Program is looking to fill the following volunteer position:
Volunteer as a "Friendly Visitor" providing respite to the Caregiver providing them the opportunity to attend our workshops. This would be a social visit only.
Successful applicants will:
- Agree to an interview by phone
- Complete CNHPS’s orientation process (submit a volunteer application form, attend a virtual orientation session, and sign volunteer consent forms)
- Submit a clean criminal record check (can be completed online via the iVolunteer site, or contact us if you prefer to submit a paper copy to the local police station at no charge)
- Live in Chilliwack or be willing to come to Chilliwack and have transportation to visit the client
