Union Gospel Mission's Women Resource team offers a supportive hand for women and families in need, providing friendship, safety, and caring support.
We are looking for volunteers who are passionate about supporting women and families. The Drop-In Support team provides essentials like food hampers, diapers, and hygiene items.
Note: Out of concern for the comfort and healing of our program participants, we will be holding this position for female-identified volunteers.
Tasks
Greet and welcome community members .
Support individual women to access needed supplies and assist with checking them in and out of the room.
Communicate with staff if there are items in need of restocking and ask for support from staff as needed.
