Our Cornerstone drop in center, located at 601 East Hastings Street, offers support and meaningful care to anyone who walks through our doors. We provide meals, essential goods, and connect community members to resources while focusing on giving a dignified experience.
This special guest volunteer opportunity provides you with a chance to try out a few shifts and get a taste of what it's like to volunteer with our Outreach team on weekday evenings.
Tasks
- Welcome people as they enter the Cornerstone drop in center
- Prepare utensils and trays for the meal service
- Deliver food to community members with mobility issues
- Sanitize and wipe down tables
- Set up shelter beds
