Overview:
We’re looking for a volunteer videographer to help tell the story of VCDS through short, impactful video. Your work will help bring voices, experiences, and moments to life in a way that deeply resonates with our community.
What you will do:
- Film at VCDS events, volunteer activities, and community initiatives
- Capture short-form video (with consent) at cancer treatment centres that reflects the patient journey and volunteer support
- Create simple, compelling video content (e.g., short clips, reels, or highlight videos)
- Edit and deliver polished video assets for use on social media, presentations, and our website
- Collaborate with the VCDS team to align on messaging and storytelling priorities
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in videographer (professional or strong amateur).
- Strong eye for authentic, human moments.
- Ability to tell a clear, human story through video
- Comfortable working in sensitive environments with empathy and discretion.
- Basic video editing skills.
- Access to your own equipment.
- Willingness to follow privacy, consent, and confidentiality guidelines.
- Emotional readiness to be in healthcare-related settings.
Time Commitment:
Flexible, based on your availability and event schedule. Occasional weekday availability is helpful.
