For over thirty years, Mid-Main Community Health Centre has served community and patient needs. Our Directors are passionate about equity, systems change and meaningful results. As a pioneer in providing comprehensive primary care, Mid-Main’s Board is guided by our 2025–2030 strategic plan, strengthening internal systems, partnerships, and organizational culture. We are now seeking two new volunteer board members to help us reshape how people connect with care.
About Mid-Main
Mid-Main is a non-profit community health centre located in the heart of Mount Pleasant, Vancouver. We offer integrated, team-based primary care and dental services to over 9,000 patients through nearly 30,000 visits annually. Our primary care clinic includes full-scope family medicine, registered nurse and nurse practitioner care, , and on-site pharmacy services. We also operate general and specialty dental services and a child development program supporting new parents.

Who We Are Looking For
Board members play a crucial role in supporting this vision through strategic oversight, fiduciary stewardship, and thoughtful guidance to the leadership team. We welcome candidates with diverse perspectives and would especially welcome expertise in these areas:
· Quality improvement through interdisciplinary collaboration and advanced technology
· Communications, government relations and community engagement
· Clinical experience related to integration of primary, dental and social care, and to supporting clinicians during transitions.
Board Commitment
·
Board term: 3-years, renewable once
Monthly board meetings (in-person with hybrid option)
· Participation in at least one board committee
· Engagement in board development and planning activities
