Red Cross Health Equipment Loan Program

The Red Cross is global organization guided by seven core principles, including Humanity, Universality & Volunteer Service. In 1946, it launched the first Health Equipment Loan Program (HELP) to help hospital patients access the equipment they needed to recover and return home. Today, the HELP program supports thousands of Canadians, enhancing their mobility and independence, allowing them to recover from the comfort of their home.

The HELP team wants you to be part of their mission! As an Administrative Support Volunteer, you will have a direct impact on Kamloops citizens' ability to access the rehab and illness support equipment that improves their quality of life. You will become familiar with the small inventory of medical assistance equipment and input the loans through a loan tracking program on a computer.
