The YVR for Kids Gala Dinner is an annual event organized by the Board of Directors of the Clear Skies Children’s Foundation. Canuck Place Children's Hospice is one of the main beneficiaries of this gala, along with many other children's charities in the community. You can learn more about them here!
Date: Wednesday August 16th
Time: 4pm - 10pm (volunteers arrive at 4pm for briefing/training, doors open at 5pm)
Location: Sheraton Vancouver Airport hotel in Richmond (7551 Westminster Hwy)
Volunteer roles include but are not limited to:
- registration/check-in and break relief
- raffle ticket sales and/or wine pull and helping with moving silent auction items into the pick-up room
- supporting with silent auction inquiries and then live auction spotting/tracking
- supporting with end of night auction/prize pick-up
Meals & Parking:
- A meal for volunteers is provided
- Free parking provided
