Bookworm Friends volunteers read to children to share the joys of reading. As a volunteer, you will:
- Be connected with individual children, small groups, daycares or classes in-person or online once a week.
- Create positive experiences with a shared focus on literacy.
- Receive a new set of loaned books each month, or you and the child will choose them from school or public libraries.
- Be supported by the program coordinator
- Feel enriched and rewarded because you make a real difference in a child’s life!
