Commitment:
Flexible hours, aiming to complete the setup in a month, but we understand it may take longer (it certainly will if I do it myself!). No long-term commitment—just a little time to help us get things on track.
About Us:
We’re a registered charity supporting seniors in the Central Vancouver Island region through intergenerational programs. We’re passionate about food security and are building food literacy programming. We own and manage a facility for these programs and subsidize them by offering rental spaces to the public. We recently received a donation for Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud through the Power of Us Program and need a guiding hand to get us up and running. If you know your way around Salesforce, we’d love your help!
Position Overview:
Do you have experience with Salesforce, particularly with Nonprofit Cloud? We’re looking for someone to assist with our setup, configuration, and integration needs. We’ve made a start, but I suspect some (maybe all!) of what we've done may need to be undone.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with setting up Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud and configuring it to fit our organization’s needs.
Help integrate tools like QuickBooks, JotForm, and MailChimp.
We would love it if you could also:
Help set up automation and workflows to streamline program management and rental processes.
Provide basic guidance to one staff member and one volunteer.
Troubleshoot any hiccups that come up during the setup process (no need to be a miracle worker, just someone who knows their stuff).
Please note that these additional items are not an expectatation and we are grateful for any help you can provide with Nonprofit Cloud.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Previous experience setting up Salesforce, ideally with Nonprofit Cloud.
Familiarity with CRM systems, data migration, and integrations.
Clear communication skills (we’re friendly and willing to learn, promise).
Patience, especially when working with less (probably much less) technologically skilled individuals.
Experience with nonprofits is a plus, but we’re happy to have anyone who’s ready to help.
What We Offer:
The chance to contribute to a great cause and make a tangible impact on our community.
Flexible work hours and the option to work remotely.
Recognition in our newsletter and on social media (we’ll sing your praises, don’t worry).
An opportunity to add “Salesforce Setup Specialist” to your resume—who doesn’t love a good title?
