The S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Help Lines program provides a safe and supportive environment for Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean and Farsi-speaking residents by telephone who are in need of emotional support. As many Ukrainian immigrants settle in Canada, we expand this free service to Ukrainian-speaking residents to sustain their mental health. The Launching Ceremony of the Ukrainian Helpline was a momentous occasion, symbolizing a significant step forward in addressing the crucial issue of mental health support in the community.
The Ukrainian Helpline is operational, offering emotional support to individuals in need, working hours Mon – Fri: 10 am – 8 pm, Sat – Sun: 10 am – 5 pm (BC). By calling 1 (888) 721 0596, Ext. 5. There are no age limitations, community members can connect with our empathetic trained volunteers who are dedicated to offering a listening ear during times of emotional distress. The official information can be found on the web-site: https://successbc.ca/counselling-crisis-support/services/help-lines/
